Slate Hearths are one the most popular selections at the moment featuring a strong natural plain black colour, which matches perfectly with most Fireplaces. We can cut the slate hearth to your exact dimensions for various uses. This particular Slate Hearth is designed for use with Solid Fuel Burning (or decorative) Fireplaces.

Generally a fireplace hearth is the same overall width as the mantle it is matched with to make a perfect image. We can put an extra T onto the back of the hearth to go into the first part of the hole, making a much better image from the front. Please contact us prior to ordering for a price.

Please note:
– This particular Slate Hearth is designed for use with Solid Fuel Burning Fireplaces as it meets the HETAS regulation. It has been cut into three to reduce any change of cracking. It has been put back together using steel wires with a lighter concrete base inside.

– If you only plan to use your fireplace with a Gas & Electric Effect, please click here for a better suited Hearth. Gas Effect fireplaces require the hearth to be raised, we call this plinthing. This additional work adds to the cost of the Hearth.

– We can cut to any size, but the price will of course change if a smaller or larger size is required. Please Contact us if you require a size option that is not currently available from the drop down list.

Shipping
We use a specialist man with van courier who is experienced in transporting our bespoke & heavy products. Transport costs do vary on location but can be between £85-£150 depending on the weight and location of delivery.
