B25 Fireplace Cast Iron Front Bar

An ornate B25 Fireplace Cast Iron Front Bar packed with design features. As with all our fire frets this product is strong and highly durable. Fire frets such as this can be coupled with a fire grate and an ash pan to create a complete real fire. Can be used with solid fuel burning and a gas effect fireplaces, or can be simply decorative.

These hook on bars are fully curved from end to end finishing in conical headed uprights. The separate ashpan cover is ribbed horizontally and has two air inlet slots.

One of the most annoying things on an original cast iron fireplace is when the bars have been removed, and the fire has been boarded over. We are often asked about the re-fitting of bars and this can become a difficult refit. Sometimes they are sliders and sometimes they are hook on’s, and to refit these is very difficult unless you are very capable at cast working.
