Tradition Arch Fireplace Grate
The Tradition Arch Fireplace Grate has a flat bottom with no legs and a raised curved front lip that acts as a coal saver, helping to keep fuel on the fire during use. For the ash pan to suit please search for AP17.
In order to create a full real fuel fire the fireplace grate stool will need to be coupled with an ashpan and fret.
Bottom Grates
A Fireplace grate is the essential component upon which the fuel is burnt. The grate sits above the ash pan and has lateral bars to allow solid fuel to sit on top and the ash to fall below, this allows for a clean air flow for a healthy fire. A fire grate that holds the fuel against the back wall will maximize the output and minimize smoke.
Some fire grates allow the fire to burn all night safely by controlling the burning rate of the fire causing it to smoulder safely, for long periods of time.
