Antique Timber Fireplace Surround

This rare antique Pine Beech Fireplace Surround is quite large and comes with a beautiful over-mantel. The main frame features floral carvings on the breast and tops of the columns. The over-mantel features a mythical scaled fish carving design, and in the centre a slot for a large mirror. Has been carefully stripped of multiple coatings of paint and is ready for a proper finish.

A fireplace insert and hearth can be purchased separately to form a full fireplace package.

These antique’s feature natural variations in knot formation, making each one truly unique. Solid oak and solid pine surrounds are usually supplied with a waxed finish.
