Stovax Colloidal Black Stove Dressing is a liquid paint of a low consistency perfect for matt black multi-fuel and woodburning stoves. Ensure stove surface is cool and clean then apply liberally with a cloth of soft brush. Once applied when you light the stove for the first time, the Colloidal Black Dressing will automatically attain a silken black finish when the stoves reaches 200°C.

With steel stoves, a final light polishing with a soft cloth while the stove is hot may improve the finish, however this is not necessary with cast-iron stoves. Stovax Colloidal black stove dressing contains colloidal graphite. Sold in a small bottle.
