Timber Surrounds/Mantels
Timber fireplace surrounds and mantels are usually created from natural oak and pine. They are also often covered with a wood veneer or paint effect. Our traditional wood fire surrounds feature natural variations in knot formation, making each solid wood fireplace unique.
Solid oak surrounds and solid pine fireplace surrounds are usually supplied with a waxed finish. The veneer and painted surrounds provide a uniform appearance for contemporary rooms. However they are unsuitable for use with solid fuel fires.
We also have a wide range of period cast iron fire surrounds available as an alternative choice.
