Rayburn Part 11 Fire Grate (225mm)
The Rayburn Part 11 fire grate is made from sturdy cast iron, suitable for burning solid fuels such as coals, logs or smokeless fuels. This fire grate is flat with no legs, meaning it will require a shelf or lug to sit on to fit.
In order to create a full real fuel fire the fireplace grate stool will need to be coupled with an ashpan and fret. When it comes to matching your grate to these other two products please feel free to let us do the hard work. With the measurements of your grate in hand we can find the best-fitting ash pan and draw up a list of frets for you to choose from.
Please read all the measurements carefully to ensure this is the correct fire grate for your fireplace.

A fireplace grate is the essential component upon which the fuel is burnt. The grate sits above the ash pan and has lateral bars to allow solid fuel to sit on top and the ash to fall below, this allows for a clean air flow for a healthy fire.
A grate that holds the fuel against the back wall will maximize the output and minimize smoke. Some fire grates allow the fire to burn all night safely by controlling the burning rate of the fire causing it to smoulder safely, for long periods of time.
