Marble & Slate Fireplaces
Marble & Slate have been used in the the design of many modern and antique fire surrounds for the past 400 years. Although not the easiest material to manufacture from its beautiful range of natural colours, durability and superb finishes, it was made popular with the middle class and aristocracy who could afford such luxuries.Marble & Slate antique fireplaces have stood the test of time despite fashions forever changing. Designs from the Edwardian, Victorian and Georgian periods are very popular today. No wonder many reproduction fireplaces today are still based on these designs.
